Our Mission
CrutchesGuide.com exists to provide comprehensive, medically-accurate, and accessible information about crutches to everyone who needs it—completely free. We believe that recovering from an injury shouldn't mean endless Googling and conflicting advice. Our goal is to be the definitive, one-stop resource hub that makes crutch users feel confident, informed, and supported throughout their recovery journey.
Why We Created This Resource
After experiencing the confusion and frustration that comes with sudden mobility challenges, we realized there was no single, comprehensive resource for crutch users. Information was scattered across medical sites, forums, and outdated pamphlets. We set out to change that by creating a hub that covers everything from basic sizing to advanced recovery techniques—all backed by medical professionals and real user experiences.

Our Story
CrutchesGuide.com was founded in 2024 after our founder experienced a severe ankle fracture and struggled to find reliable, comprehensive information about crutch use. What should have been straightforward—learning to use crutches safely—turned into weeks of research, trial and error, and preventable mistakes.
Determined to spare others the same frustration, we assembled a team of medical professionals, web developers, and recovered crutch users to create the ultimate resource hub. Today, we serve over 10,000 users monthly and continue to grow based on community feedback.
